They are joining the Netherlands and Japan in San Francisco with the fourth berth being determined between Puerto Rico and Team USA on Friday evening.

The results don’t show any surprises. The Dominican Republic came back from a four-run deficit to down a strong Italian team. Team USA out-pitched and out-hit Puerto Rico en route to a win.

Tokyo. Japan used two home runs by Shinnosuke Abe and eight runs in the second inning to beat the Netherlands 10-6 on Tuesday at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan. With the victory Team Samurai finishes the second round in first place, ahead of the Dutch team.
