Honduras clinches seventh place in I IBAF 15U Baseball World Championship with victory over Germany

Chinese Taipei scored seven runs in the second to erase a 1-6 deficit in a 13-6 win against Nicaragua on Saturday afternoon. It was the final second-round matchup for both teams at the I IBAF 15U Baseball World Championship in Chihuahua, Mexico. They now await their fate for Sunday’s final day of the competition.

Chinese Taipei defeated Brazil in the third day of the second round of the 15U Baseball World Championship in Chihuahua with a score of 10-4.

Chengdu in China is hosting at the “Jinniu” Field the 12U Asian Championship with 8 teams (divided into 2 groups) participating. Group A: China, Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia; Group B: Chinese Taipei, Korea, Philippines and Pakistan.

Chihuahua (Mexico). Cuba remains as the lone undefeated team at the I IBAF 15U Baseball World Championship in Mexico. The baseball powerhouse won a pitcher’s duel against Chinese Taipei on Thursday morning to improve to 3-0 in the second round, staying on course to reach the Gold Medal Game. Meanwhile their biggest opponent so far, Venezuela, stumbled over Mexico, losing for the first time after dominating with a terrific offensive performance before. In the third Group 1 matchup Brazil nearly blew a big lead against Nicaragua.

Dannel Diaz led Cuba to a 3-1 win in a pitcher’s duel against Chinese Taipei on Thursday morning in Chihuahua, Mexico. They improved to 3-0 in the second round of the I IBAF 15U Baseball World Championship, looking to reach the Gold Medal Game. For Chinese Taipei it was the second loss in as many days.

Team Italy defeated Hong Kong 17-5 in seven innings in the second day of the second round at the 15U Baseball World Championship held in Chihuahua, Mexico.

Chihuahua (Mexico). The I IBAF 15U Baseball World Championship in Chihuahua, Cuauhtémoc and Parral started into the second phase on Wednesday. The best two teams from each first-round pool moved up into Group 1, trying to qualify for Gold Medal and Bronze Medal Games next Sunday in another round robin. Cuba and Venezuela confirmed their favorite status by improving to 2-0 in their pool on Wednesday. Also Mexico started successfully with a blowout over Brazil. The Venezuela-Mexico matchup will be in the spotlight on Thursday.

Venezuela continued its hot hitting at the 15U Baseball World Championship in Mexico on Wednesday, dismantling Chinese Taipei 20-2 in seven innings. After a scoreless first inning, Venezuela scored in each of the next six frames for an impressive victory over the former undefeated squad from Asia.

Hong Kong defeated Indonesia in the last game of the first round of the I IBAF 15U Baseball World Championship and left its opponents the fifth position in the Group B.
