Youth Park/Taipei City. Russia got its first win in 12U Baseball World Cup history. On Sunday afternoon they defeated Pakistan 27-4. They scored seven runs in the third, six in the fourth and ten in the fourth inning to pick up the victory. Pakistan kept it close in the first few frames, but the score blow up towards the end. They dropped to 0-4, while Russia improved to 1-2.

Tien-Mou/Taipei City. Chinese Taipei overcame a pair of early home runs to defeat Mexico 4-2 in the afternoon game at Tien-Mou Stadium on Sunday. All six runs were scored in the first inning, as the host of the II 12U Baseball World Cup answered two solo shots in the top of the first with four runs in the bottom half. An error on a muffed throw at first base turned out to be crucial.

Venezuela beats USA – Chinese Taipei prevails against Mexico at 12U Baseball World Cup

Shing-Sheng/Taipei City. The Czech Republic has its first win at the II 12U Baseball World Cup. The European Champion defeated the Philippines 9-4 at Shing-Sheng Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Five runs in the first two innings and four more in the last three sealed the deal for the Czech. The Asian squad tried to rally in the sixth, but the deficit was too steep to overcome.

Taipei City. The preliminary round at the II 12U Baseball World Cup in Taipei City is heating up. On day three of the tournament the two meetings of undefeated teams at Tien-Mou Stadium were in the spotlight.

Tien-Mou/Taipei City. Venezuela improved to 3-0 and into sole possession of first place in Group B one day before their matchup with rival USA at the 12U Baseball World Cup. On Saturday evening at Tien-Mou Stadium they defeated Korea 7-3. Four runs in the fourth and three in the fifth decided the outcome. Korea tried to rally in the sixth, but it was too little too late.

Youth Park/Taipei City. Pakistan missed out making history at the II 12U Baseball World Cup in a tragic 11-9 loss to Hong Kong. At Youth Park on Saturday afternoon the underdog blew a 9-2 lead in the bottom of the fifth inning to fall to Hong Kong 9-11.

Tien-Mou/Taipei City. Japan scored four runs in the top of the fourth to beat host Chinese Taipei 4-2 on Saturday afternoon. In front of a good crowd at Tien-Mou Stadium the game between the two 2-0 clubs fulfilled the high expectations at the 12U Baseball World Cup. A bases clearing triple eventually decided the outcome.

Youth Park/Taipei City. Italy defeated the Philippines 12-2 at Youth Park Stadium on Saturday morning in Taipei City. After having the day off the Europeans returned to the stage with an easy victory, scoring in each of the five innings played. They are now 1-1 in the II 12U Baseball World Cup, while the Philippines dropped to 0-2.

Taipei City. The second day of the II 12U Baseball World Cup saw Brazil erasing a deficit against Mexico, handing one of the favorites a surprise loss. In the other five games on Friday the usual suspects picked up the wins. Japan, USA, Korea, Venezuela and Chinese Taipei all improved to 2-0 in the tournament.
