Seoul Black Pearls won the LG Electronics Women’s Baseball Tournament in Iksan City, Korea. They won 19:11 against the Goyang Lakers in the Gold Medal Game on November 24 at Iksan Baseball Field.

Some 200 supporters of Japan’s Women’s National Baseball Team, Madonna Japan, attended a reception held in Tokyo on December 7 to celebrate the winning of the Team’s three consecutive IBAF world championship.

Team Japan in their final game defeated China 10-1 over the weekend to lift the 2012 BFA Asian Baseball Championship trophy.

In the battle for first place, Japan’s tough pitching proved the difference as they blanked the Koreans on a two-hit shutout for the 4-0 triumph.

The 26th Asian Baseball Championship is underway in Taichung hosted by Chinese Taipei Baseball Association and Taichung Government . The tournament will be played from November 28 through h December 2 at Inter-Continental Baseball Stadium and Taiwan Sports University Baseball Field with six teams from Japan, Korea, Chinese Taipei, Philippines and Pakistan in a single round robin system.
